The race is on to book a venue and start planning my wedding! Since we are aiming for this Fall, it’s definitely time to gather some inspirational photos of dresses and accessories. Of course, my aesthetic will fare toward vintage but I do love a modern touch too. In round one of gathering inspiration I fell in love with 77Diamonds eternity rings and the gowns from Fancy Bridal. Suggestions are VERY welcome since the next step is purchasing some of these lovely things!
Above – Polka Dot Perfection – The skirt on the Rebecca Dress by Fancy Bridal is spectacular! The Adarna ring from 77Diamonds would make a perfect match for my estate ring. BHLDN’s polka-dot Mary Janes are a fun whimsical touch to the look.
Below – Classic Hollywood – This art deco inspired Diedre dress by Fancy Bridal is so chic; I love the way the sleeves fall. The veil – I’m still swooning over just about everything Preston & Olivia creates. More on that HERE. Another lovely band of gold, rose gold to be precise, the Somoa by 77Diamonds. Finally, a vintage clutch by Fashion Rerun.
Below – Black & White Chic – This collection is more about the concept, less about the complete look. The Suzette dress by Fancy Bridal had me at the big bow! The black gold Vogue ring is my favorite of the 77Diamonds eternity rings. Not sure if I could pull it off as my wedding band but definitely a first anniversary gift! This 50’s style birdcage veil by Agnes Hart is chic perfection. I can see it with so many types of dresses. Last but not least, these Vera Wang heels by David’s Bridal are just too sweet to pass by!
Once again, suggestions are welcome for dresses, shoes, rings, bags or anything wedding related! Thanks in advance.

I wrote a guest post a few weeks back for Running in Stilettos and wanted to share it! I hope it inspires some Sunday evening online shopping; one of my favorite things. Enjoy the last few hours of the weekend!

Collecting has always been in my blood. When I was young it was Cabbage Patch Kids and Barbie dolls, then it was stamps and coins. I had a collection of journals filled with paragraphs of teen into twenty something drama and then finally I settled on small home decor collecting, like the creamers above (those are mine).
I find that a good collection is a great conversation starter when people visit your home. If you were never sure of what to collect, now is the time to start! I’ve gathered some of my favorite “instant” collections below. So pick your favorite, display then proudly and when people ask, tell them you’ve been collecting for years!
Below: (1) Under lock and key these three would be! $35 at The Hope Tree HERE. (2) A funny but unique collection from Sushipot Parts HERE for $65. (3) Also, from Sushipot Parts, adorable toy tin cups HERE for $42.
Finally, vintage buttons would be perfect in a large glass bowl on the coffee table for all to see. Each one in the group below has a story to tell, add some of your own! $56 HERE from Buttons Addict.
Last week I had the pleasure of attending my first IFB fashion show! While Little Maison is not a true blue fashion blog, I do display my badge proudly and feature my favorite fashion picks from time to time.
Co-hosted by the Independent Fashion Bloggers (IFB) and Intel, the fashion show featured 15 blogger models; one of which was my friend Christine of NYCPretty. I will post more of the runway show soon, but first wanted to share my favorite fashion from the audience packed with fellow bloggers. Have a fashionable day!
I have always had a thing for necklaces. For many years I would switch up my necklace daily which caused many tangled chains in my jewelry box. Lately, I’ve settled into a Christmas gift from my boyfriend, a petite diamond initial M. I love it. Tiny is the way to go with pendants. The more unique, the better the conversation starter.
Be sure to check out these affordable crafts from the talented designers below:
Last summer my boyfriend and I found ourselves at a real country fair in Pennsylvania. We even had the unique pleasure of watching a pig auction; which was definitely a first for me! I snapped a few photos that day and they inspired me to collect a few Spring pieces that would be perfect for a day out at the fair.
This brilliant blue cross body bag below by Mona Tunas is a steal at $95 available HERE. Further below, pick one enamel necklace or wear them all! These delicate pendants by Happyment are HERE for $28 each.
Last but not least below is one of the best T-shirts I’ve seen in a long time. It’s perfect for a country fair but should be something we all consider daily no matter where we live. It’s available by LintHound for $20 HERE
If you haven’t checked out the new online store Frock Stock yet, today is the day! This vintage inspired shop carries the cutest pieces for Spring and personally I can’t decide what to buy first! Be sure to stop in HERE for some affordable and fabulous fashion.
I am always on the hunt for new accessories and when I found the handmade fabric scarves & necklaces by Birdie Num Num on Etsy – I fell in love! Above, when worn twice around the neck this scarf has a tribal feel. It’s only $18 and is available in several color combinations HERE. Below, a triple braided necklace makes a statement for summer, also only $18 – check it out HERE (10% Discount currently available with code “birdie10”)
Last but not least, this innovative designer from Chile recently posted on her blog a few teaser photos of new items that she’ll be adding to her collection (see below). Can’t wait to see what else flies in from Birdie Num Num!
I love clogs. For those of you who know me well, you know that I swear by them. In fact, when I make my pitch about how great clogs are, I often reference my two week walk around the streets of Paris in 1 pair of Danskos. Like it or not, they are better than sneakers!
Luckily for me in the past few years clogs have gotten some fashionable press, yet, what’s a girl to do when she just can’t let go of a trend? Find über fashionable hybrid clogs of course!
I discovered Swedish Hasbeens a few years back and fell in love with their innovative styles and color selection each season. Their Spring/Summer 2012 collection is no exception with a dreamy assortment of Easter egg hues. Season after season, they are spot on in style but I will just let the photos speak for themselves. Clog on my friends!
I love the idea of re-purposing vintage jewelry and when someone does it right, it’s hard not to fall in LOVE! I stumbled into DiBa Jewelry on Etsy and was instantly taken with their embellished leather cuffs. Above is my personal favorite for $155 available HERE. Just enough metallic leather, black and sparkle – my kind of accessory!
Below is another beautiful cuff where you can see the detail of clasp and leather. This one is available HERE for $225. I also couldn’t resist showcasing these vintage brass earrings! Available HERE for only $39.
DiBa Jewelry selects unique vintage items to re-purpose, making each of their items truly one of a kind. If you love to make a statement with accessories, be sure to check out their selection of rings as well.
